General Information
Trekking does not mean mountain climbing but refers to walking on trails. You neither need any advanced training nor have to be very sportive. So anyone with a pair of strong legs and adventurer spirit will enjoy the thrills of trekking in the foothills of Nepal Himalayas. For trekkings during a longer period of time and on higher altitudes it is important to be in good physical shape before you embark on a trek. The more physically fit you are, the more easily your body will adapt to hiking in the Himalayas. Resistance to cold and sickness is also increased. Trekking in Himalayan opens up new horizons of consciousness, combining mental relaxation with spiritual bliss and sometimes some kind of physical challenge. It is an experience that will expand your way of thinking and appreciation of the world.

There are various types of trekking option in Nepal from just a day hiking trip to very long and high altitude exploration over the mountain pass. It depends upon your choice and we are there to help you to make it successful.

In general, the best trekking season extends from early October until the end of May. December till February can be very cold and higher altitudes get snow at this time, making some passes above 5000 meters very risky. See for more specific information the chapter seasons for trekking.
  
  • Safety
Our professional trekking crew are there 24hrs to make sure that trekkers are safe with all the aspects and enjoying the trek. Though we have not had any cases of emergency as yet . Unforeseen incidents beyond our control cannot be ruled out. We assist with immediate arrangements for rescue by land or air if the need arises. Therefore it is requested that all passengers are properly insured before they start their trek.

Please help us save the environment! Avoid the use of non-biodegradable items so that you can save the area from being polluted !!!!!
  
  • Altitude Sickness
Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) is a fatal sickness caused by random altitude ascension. Therefore, climbers ascending 3000 meters or above should acquire sound knowledge of proper acclimatization process.
The symptoms of AMS are as following: Nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, swelling of limbs, dizziness, insomnia/sleeplessness, irregular breathing, unusual weariness, and headache
Prevention of AMS: Maintain good fluid intakes and hurried descent or evacuation to lower altitude.
