Trekking Tours Annapurna Region
  
The Annapurna region is one of the most popular areas for trekking and is well served by Pokhara - the main hub and staging post for the region situated North-West of the Kathmandu Valley. Pokhara is easily reached by road from Kathmandu (about 7 hours by public bus, around 5 hours by car or 25 minutes by air). The Annapurna region has many picturesque trails offering a variety of treks - ranging from a leisurely half day's pony trek to 30 day treks tailored to your interests.

  
  • The Royal Trek
The famous Rolling Stone Mick Jagger, as well as Prince Charles of England were doing this trek in 1980. This is why this trek also is called "Royal Trek". Sherpa's will guide you and carry most of your things, as well as all the necessary things for cooking and camping.

The Annapurna Circuit takes between 18 and 25 days and is one of the most popular of the longer trekking routes in Nepal. The classic route covers the terrain of the Gurungs, the Managis, the Thakalis and other ethic groups. The trek traverses the lush southern slopes of the Himalayan foothills, the Trans-Himalayan Manang and the Southern Mustang with its arid Tibetan plateau characteristics.
